Executive DirectorEmail Venessa

Over the years, my experiences have not only afforded me numerous opportunities to network and meet like-minded people, but to diversify my skill set, better equipping me to relate to various individuals in need of empowerment, encouragement and a reassuring voice. As a Multi-Award Winning Author, Public Speaker, Radio Personality, Junior Board Member for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, as well as a dedicated Member for National Alliance on Mental Illness, NAACP, Baltimore Mental Health Alliance, Duluth Business Association and National Council of Negro Women has cultivated a colourful network and experience base, all aiding me in my advocacy for mental health and suicide prevention.

June, 2018 marked the commencement of our National Self-Discovery: Pain, Positioning & Purpose Mental Health Conference Tour. Garnering tremendous support, the tour offered educational material and resources to families and individuals faced with the negatives associated with mental illness, bullying, and suicide. The initiative proved to be a success and reflected not only its potential, but the urgent need for mental health events, and we endeavor to meet that need. Continuing to devote our time, energy, skills and resources, we will work assiduously to ensure our families, friends, colleagues, and loved ones are educated and empowered in the face of mental illness, bullying and suicide.
